Celebration Villa of Chippewa, a Priority Life Care community, is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

Held with the Validation Training Institute, the week highlights compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care.

The theme “Meet Me Where I Am” encourages caregivers and families to listen, understand, validate feelings, and honor each person’s journey.

Throughout the week, Celebration Villa of Chippewa will host activities that recognize residents’ life stories and introduce families and community members to the power of Validation.

Validation supports Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy by helping caregivers create relationships built on trust, comfort, and connection.
